Sheila is an author and Christian speaker. She serves as an licensed minister at Metro Christian Worship Center, in St. Louis, MO.
Making her family her top ministry priority, Sheila has spent the last 20 years pouring her love, her life, her knowledge and wisdom into her daughters. Supporting her husband in team ministry, she is the co-founder and co-director of the Image of God Family Community Ministry. This ministry is focused on encouraging Christian families to mirror God’s Image through teaching principles from the Word of God. They have done these teachings in various settings – private, seminars, workshops and conferences.
Sheila believes that is not enough to know the Word but also to make life application of its principles in our relationships. Healed relationships are our most effective witness to the World. The Bible teaches us that the only way the world will recognize that we are Christ’s disciples is by the love that we have toward one another (John 13:35).
Sheila has served in various women’s ministries throughout the years. She is presently serving as the Vice-president of the Transformation Women’s Outreach Community Ministry. This ministry is focused on helping hurting women in the urban community of East St. Louis, Illinois and surrounding areas.
Throughout the years, many women have sat on her couch and received hours of personal, one-on-one ministry through their relationship struggles. She inspires them toward the heart of God and into a deeper relationship with Him. Sheila knew that God was calling her to another season – more than the one-on-one couch ministry. She followed His leadings to share her own personal victory and valley relationship experiences in her writing and speaking. Out of her obedience, the first volume of the Can’t Shout It Out series was birthed: Can’t Shout It Out! You Have To Walk It Out!
